An electrical short circuit is believed to have caused a fire that gutted 12 houses in Kampung Sungai Panga, 3rd November night. To ease the burden of the victims, a donation presentation took place at Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque in Kampung Sungai Kebun, 4th November morning.

On hand to present the donations was Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer, as the chair of Brunei Muara District Office Charity Fund.

The fire incident occurred at 6:57 in the evening. The amount of loss is still under investigation.
